Wedding Party Attire

The flower girls:
My grandma made their dresses. View previous posts about them here.

They did so good!
Gabrielle:
My Junior bridesmaid, she walked Kathy, my black lab who was also ring bearer down the aisle.
Her dress was opposite the bridesmaids with the same kind of silk. My grandma also made her dress.

Kathy:
Our ring bearer had some flowers and ribbon that had the rings tied to it on a simple dog chain. There aren't any perfect pictures of her but here is a glimpe...and another bit of my dress!

The Bridesmaids:
Ashley was my matron of honor, then in order there is Alyssa, Bekah, and Ashley. My mom made all of their dresses and I think they turned out great! Their jewelry went with it perfectly! These are the only two I could find with just them, where all of them were in it!

The groomsmen:
Greg was Zach's best man, then there is Josh his brother, Shea my brother, and Jarrod. Zach is in these with them. Order in picture below from left to right : Jarros, Greg, Zach, Josh, Shea

And here is almost everyone...

Sorry you will have to wait for my dress!

Tuxedo Success

I have a feeling that this past weekend was a look into my future days off. Granted we got a lot done, but my entire weekend was consumed with wedding planning.

First on Saturday Janet and Mike, as well as my mom, Shea and Greg all came over and we headed up to Men's Warehouse. Amazingly we found what we wanted there for a great price. $124.99 for each tux and that includes everything (shoes, tie, vest, cuff links, and even socks!)Plus since we are getting more than 5 tuxes ( we are making my dad and Zach's dad wear tuxes as well, only they will have a black vest and tie.) Zach will get a free suit worth up to $400. Personally I think that is an awesome deal! So that is one more thing checked off the list.
as you can see the men got bored fast and huddled together in the back, before deciding to leave and let us take care of everything ...
Here are our color choices...(the sage is for the groomsmen, and the ivory is for Zach. The pansy ribbon was too difficult to match)

So glad to have this done!

Tuxedos

Zach and I both have this weekend off... a rare occurance. We are using this to our advantage though. Saturday we shall go hunting for a tux for him and his groomsmen.I think we will look at Men's Warehouse and maybe this place called Affordable Tuxedo and Bridal shop off of S. Military Highway. Hopefully we can find something! Then that will be one more thing checked off of out to-do list. It may be a party going to look at tuxedos. Pretty sure my mom and his will come along with shea and maybe greg too. Hooray! so far I know we want a slimmer fit black tux , two buttons, and zach wants a bowtie, they will probably have vests as well. Zachs colors may be just black and a white that goes with my dress while we are thinking about having the groomsmen's accent color matching the ribbon that will be on the flower girls and bridesmaids. Its called pansy and is kind of a bluish purple.

Also I have called some caterers, two are putting together quotes the other two I called haven't called me back, if they don't then I guess too bad we don't want to use you anyways! I should at least have two by the end of next week.

I also have schedules a preliminary wedding hairdo test with susie on sat the 16th at 2 pm. I wonder if anyone will come with me? Maybe my mom and maid of honor? I would like second opinions... So hopefully we can have that figured out and another thing done.

Sunday of this week me and all of my bridesmaids minus Alyssa are going to go shoe hunting. (for their shoes) hopefully we will have some luck!
